Norton Mad! Norton Smash!

Next summer 'The Incredible Hulk,' which is not necessarily a sequel to the 2003 film, will hit the theatres in June. And the studio decided not to go with actor Eric Bana to play the leading role. So whose the man who will be playing the nerdy, pathetic and lonely Bruce Banner? None other than Ed Norton.

Norton playing Banner is a match made in heaven. Whether it was American History X, The Italian Job, or Fight Club, Norton has proved he's a fantastic actor who can bring respectability back to the Green Goliath that is the Hulk.

Also signed on to the film is Liv Tyler, who will be playing the role of Betty Ross, Banner's love interest. Louis Leterrier, director of Transporter 1 & 2, will be directing the Marvel Comics motion picture.
